We are Slaves of Society

WE ARE ALL SLAVES OF SOCIETY. We have been educated to be slaves.

Society, the environment, family, friends, companies, brands… We are under great pressure to be someone we are not, to become slaves, valuing ourselves for what is on the outside and not for what is on the inside.

From the day we are born, whether in our homes or in schools, we are subjected to messages and beliefs about how we should be, live, believe, or act in order to be happy, creating in us beliefs that we take as true by the mere fact that these messages are generalized and constantly repeated to us.

Not being aware of this and not questioning what we think, what we believe, what we feel or what we do, turns us into slaves. It is not about believing that everything is a lie, that would be another belief, but to understand that many of the thoughts that we have engraved in our heads are not ours, but have been making a place in our minds over time.

Both society and the individual reject what is different, That is why sometimes we feel left out for thinking something different from what others think and sometimes this leads us to not want to think or say things that are out of the standard, so as not to feel unaccepted, not to feel rejection. Constant pressure generates discomfort that keeps us in constant frustration, discomfort, insecurity, stress and low self-esteem. They don’t have the power to make us feel this way, only you can give yourself the courage you have inside and be yourself.

If we do not think differently, if we do not make this reflection, we will never create a different world, we will never be ourselves. Are you yourself or who others expect you to be?
